Hello everyone, Recently I took to figuring out the odd chirping noise on my dads 1985 A382. It would make this sound whenever the motor was running, and I figured it was just the motor itself. As it turns out I was incorrect. I recently removed the belt for the pump from the machine to check and see how bad they were, and I figured Id try turning the machine on to see if the noise went away. While it didn’t go away, it changed significantly, so I checked the pulley and noticed that the bottom of the pulley was loose! The pulley itself was still very tightly attached to the motor shaft, but the very bottom part where the pump belt goes around was loose and clattering around. Is there a way to retighten this or adjust the pulley, or does it need an entirely new pulley? I have a video documentation of it too if anyone needs to see what i’m talking about better.
