Closer to 1986! 

 

I've never heard of the restriction you've described.  It's done all the time in Shoppers Square, where threads such as this make up the entire forum.

I see that all too often on craigslist, ebay, etc. What is a "ringer" washer, anyway? (sorry, the grammar patrol in me couldn't resist)
