Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

First off you need a double wash basin by your washer.

When you activate the "suds saver" feature all the water and suds from the first wash cycle is diverted to your 2nd wash tub (if you have a double washtub) instead of going down the drain. Of course you have to have the plug in the drain so it doesn't drain out.  The machine then goes into its rinse cycle using fresh water,, spins and drains that down the other wash tub as normal.  When you do your next load of laundry the machine will then suck all that previously used water and suds back into the machine for re use in its first wash cycle.  I don't think you'd want to use it for a really soiled first load though. Mom had one on her old Kenmore and would use it.. Cuts water and detergent usage.
