I wonder how many millions of this exact set -- including the color -- were purchased during this series' run?   It seems to be a super common pairing.   Ours was the same, purchased used in 1986 from a Maytag dealer that did nothing to it.  Even the HOH lint screen had a thick layer of lint still on it.  I don't think we paid more than $250 for it.
