What is the best source for a set of washer belts, 2-10024 & 2-11125.
Bought my last pair 6 yrs ago but had to try three Amazon sellers to get good ones.

I must be lucky.
My Maytag's about 38 years old, and still fine on it's original belts.
So is the matching dryer.

The belts all have "Maytag" written on them in white ink.

Those were the originals. Our purchasing agents wouldn't ever release who they sourced them from but every batch had 1% tested to meet their strict standards.

My first pair weren't replaced until 2006 and my A806 was built 1978.
Replacements have started to squeal at about 6-7 years and lost spin speed.

As not surprising, a lot of replacement parts for ANYthing these days are sub-standard in quality and useful life.

In the shop, we all experienced the deterioration of cassette belts, turntable belts. and other parts as far back as the 1990s.
Belts would dry out and snap, or turn to goo, and drip all over the mechanisms.

Part of that is the improper vulcanizing of the rubber/neoprene, likely because of outsourcing such things.

I’ve seen no problem with the main drive belts from whirlpool for Maytag two belt machines.

If the belts are squealing, they’re getting oil on them, you can go ahead and clean the main drive belt.

There’s almost never a reason to replace the pump belt on a Maytag washer it would normally outlast the machine easily, however, many times they sold as a set, but there’s no reason to replace something that doesn’t look worn.

The main drive belt is glazed a bit, no oil from trans or brake is visible. Squealing wasn't uncommon with aftermarket belts from my experience.
