I didn't know that suds-saving washing machines were still being made this late in the game??
Pretty cool.
And the price does sweeten the pot, for those that like the maytag washers with the short-fast agitation.

Maytag made suds-savers until about the year 2000.
That probably has the top bearing in the transmission out. Major repair.

We have a Dependable Care washer & dryer set from 1998. I'll post pics in the Deluxe forum so as not to clutter up this thread. The washer is a water-saver model (aka suds-saver).
