Ooops ... I think the seller has that mistaken.

That is for a Speed Queen wringer washer, not Maytag. Maytag did not have an aluminum lint screen; Maytag had an enameled strainer.

What and Where?

How did these work? I have never seen one. I have the blue gaurd that goes under the agitator for pump wringers, but am not familiar with this one.

Same type of principle with the Speed Queen ... but I think they used those on all of their machines to keep items from going down the drain hole.

They were never really designed for lint screens.
