Maytag wringer E2LS diverter pan

The wringer on my E2LS doesn't have a diverter pan. Was there one originally? Can it be replaced? Thanks for any help.

Yes, Judy, there was a deflector pan under the wringer that went one way back into the washer tub or reversed so it drained towards the rinse tub.

The pan is also self turning. It automatically turns in the correct direction to which the water is to flow.

I have a spare wringer for parts that does have the diverter. Is there any way to remove/replace it? I can't seem to figure it out. Thanks.
