Maytag Wringers - Advice

I'm a little excited so pardon me if I am a bit all over the place with this post. Found what look to be 2 beautiful Maytag Wringers on Craigs list near me which I would love to have! Sent an email saying that I am interest and would like to take a look. Other than the indentations on the rollers what is a quick and dirty punch list of things I should look for?

Don't know model number as I was so excited I didn't ask, but they are square tubs trimmed in blue. They look to be very well cared for, but will judge when I see them.

If you plug it in and the motor runs, there should be a knob that can be pushed or pulled. If it engages the agitator, then that means the transmission works. There's another lever on the wringer that twists according to which direction you want to wring. Center is neutral. When its engaged, it should also keep the wringer from swinging (from what I remember), and allow the wringer to swing when in neutral (I'm almost sure of that). The red safety bar should stop and disengage the wringer when pushed, and latching it back together should be self explanatory. Now fill it up with water. Does it leak? No? If you tilt the hose, it drains. Right? The agitator is usually held in place with a rubber grommet. If it pulls easily, that grommet will have to be replaced. If it pulls with a lot of resistance and feels like it snaps in and out, then the seal is good. Check the cord for any fraying or damage. If all that works and it looks good cosmetically, then you should be set.

Much appreciated - I have read many a post that described what to look for when checking out usually an automatic, so I just wanted to be sure I had a punch list of sorts. Didn't want to get it home and realize that it needed a bunch of work as this will be a daily driver of sorts from day one...
