Well, tried to talk to him this morning but he was temporarily off the ward. Whatever that means...the nurse's desk says to try again about 1.00pm Ohio time, so I shall.
I will be pasing on every single one of your wishes to him.
Boris, by the way, is staying with the neighbors. I am not sure who to feel sorrier for, the cat or the neighbors...
To those who have written me privately, I will let you know as soon as I do, again - feel free to write me anyone, I will pass things on. Just don't feel comfortable giving out any more info. until I have talked to Lawrence directly. The nurses were friendly and relaxed, if that means anything...

Ok, different room now, but not connection. Sigh.
I may have to ask for help from one of the folks in the US at this point, preferably someone who knows Lawrence, has spoken to him and is a bit closer in time zone than I am.
Any volunteers?
(I am now trying to reach his cousin and see if what's up.)

Ok, got through to him thanks to some very diligent work at the reception of his hospital.
He says thanks to everyone and love to all.
We did not talk about much, but he is still pretty out of it. Tomorrow he may be up to hearing from folks and I think that would probably be a great idea.
So I will keep you all up to date.
Still would appreciate a volunteer or two, I think Lawrence is going to need some distraction.
Oh, and yes, it is serious.

My goodness, who would expect one to have a heart attack at the young age of 47. I will continue to send best wishes and good thoughts his way.

Keven~ Do you think it is possible to send him a get well card? I don't know Lawrence personally,but like everyone on this site, I feel a personal connection with him as part of our global AW.org family. His posts are always positive and uplifting unless you get him going about the Maytag buyout..(LOL)..=)
