Maytags on the move

Last Saturday, my wife and me made the 720  mile round trip to St Louis. The purpose was to meet up with Travis, and bring home a set of Maytags, in Pink! Travis is a most gracious host, with a beautiful house he's restoring. We can't thank him enough for his hospitality, and  for the Maytag set.

 

Here they are, on the truck.

Finally at home

They'll rest here for a while, until they can be gone through. They look right at home, between the 1947  Servel, and an early set of 806's, in Harvest Gold. That's a 1940's Philco standing in the background.

Congratulations on your new acquisition Kenny!  What's the year of the harvest gold 806 set? I had a dryer like that (HDE-806) but I had to switch the panels to white so it would match with my white A-806 washers!

the harvest gold 806 pair, plus the white 808 dryer, and the pink pair too!!! your laundryroom is definitely going to have a warm glow to it with all them beauties running!!!

Phil, I'll have to get the serial number off it, it does have the chrome lint filter in the washer.
