I suppose since I haven't been hanging around here for a while, you all have already discussed this machine to death. It really intrigues me-I can picture myself out behind our trailer in the bright morning sun, cheerfully washing clothes while Dennis hangs them (he loves to hang laundry and will "re-hang" clothes I put up if he thinks I didn't do it quite right). I question whether it would really solve a problem or just be a big expensive toy for David. First off, the wringer doesn't swing, so how do you rinse? Most of you kids know the drill-two tubs of clear rinse water and swing the wringer to each tub.

I'm not a genius like our webmaster (Robert you amaze me) but I'm thinking it really wouldn't be hard to make something like this myself. I mean, doesn't that look a bit homespun?

Thats a lotta clams when you can get a basic AW for that or even less

Lehman's used to

offer a very, very similar machine, and at a higher than expected (even for Lehman's) price. I don't know if they still carry their version, but I am going to include the link to their homepage anyway.

GREAT to have you back where you belong, David!!

Thes units are neat and cool....but yeah, that price tag can get you......

something basic and inexpensive I would think would be the WonderWasher......new around 45.00.......I have seen used ones for around 20.00.......great size for a traveling camper......
