MediaCoder - more than a universal audio/video transcoder

Has anybody tested this utility? I found this in my Kim Komando weekly newsletter. Apparently, this free program will convert media files from one type to another, such as Quicktime to Windows Media. For more information, see link below.--Laundry Shark

Thanks for the tip. As soon as all of me arrives in one place at the same time, I will take a look at it.
AutoGK (Auto Gordian Knot) is another program which can make life a lot easier, tho' it is aimed at a much narrower range of conversions (not to be confused with the standard Gordian Knot, which is a nightmare to learn and use).

Or..

Super, which converts anything to anything. Great for grabbing Youtube videos.

There's a certain trick you need to do with Super to get stereo audio on Youtube (like for posting music) but I could never get it to work.

AutoGK

AutoGK is pretty righteous as well. Convert movies to divx and burn then to cd or put multiple movies on DVD.

I agree that MediaCoder is a great program. It works great for myspace videos and much more. Super i havent tried yet, but will probably.

Converting Audio Video to Windows Media

My point in mentioning this utility is so that whomever might like to share a washer, dishwasher, advertisement, or related file with me can maybe convert it into a Windows Media compatible format. Besides, I am still investigating from assistive technology experts as to whether this software is compatible with JAWS for Windows or not.--Laundry Shark
