Hi! Jason and everyone else, with my being a Veteran, or even if I wasn't one, it is not only this Special Memorial Day Holiday Weekend Celebration, but always, we should remember those who have fought for our Rights and those also who lost the Battle and their Lives all too often, than not.
Those of you who are able, maybe you could Visit a Cemetery or any Memorial of our Veteran's to give your personal Tribute and Conmemoration {sp} and to hopfully have others follow in your Foot-Steps to remember those people on this Special Day as well.
Peace, America the Beautiful, GOD Bless America, GOD Bless us, one and all and Prayers for our Loved Ones not with us any more at least on Earth, but always in our Memories, Steve

Since I am
not American, perhaps this is a bit out of line, but may I suggest a visit to a Veteran's Hospital might not be out of place. That's where my folks took us every Memorial Day - they felt the soldiers who were there needed to know that their sacrifice had not been forgotten.
Course, they also volunteered their time the rest of the year, too...
Whatever one may feel about the current "issues" the US has with her allies...there are an awful lot of us in Europe who are thankful for those who fought and died and suffered to gain back freedom for everyone. Without the US, the Nazis would have won...
