Has anyone tried Method? I currently use Method dish soap in french lavender..I just love it!! I also bought the dryer cloths in lavender and juniper. They are packaged damp. They smell amazing damp but don't leave much of a scent on the clothes after they are dry.
Method is a bit pricey, but I always try and support gay owned and operated companies. =)

I didn't know they were sisters....

The leather spray cleaner is amazing, and the eucalyptus mint scent bathroom spray cleaner is out of this world.

I also have the eucalyptus mint, lavender lemongrass, frosted cranberry, and peppermint vanilla air "enhancer" sprays, which are excellent as well.

ShopRite is now phasing in Method, at more reasonable prices than Target, so I expect I'll be trying one of the little detergent bottles really soon (it got good rep from CU, which is always a good excuse....

Dish liquid I probably won't try...(still into my SunLight for Sensitive Skin, which is as close to a resurrected Dove liquid that I can find....also into Palmolive Oxy Lemon with Bleach for greasies)...but I have, as a dedicated product whore, of course opened the Method dish liquid bottle to take a whiff, and it definitely smells better than Ajax Lavender Lemon....

One thing that irks me is that the bottles open from the bottom. This is true of body washes as of late, and I'm still going spastic with them...

I have been using their liquid hand soap since I moved out here and really like it. Particularly now that I know they're gay owned and operated, I will look into using more of their products.

"There are no such people!"

Child, I hope you never meet Sam Havadtoy or David Geffen in a dark alleyway, LOL!!

My crunchy tendencies usually get the best of me when debating which products to buy at the grocery store, although strangely I've tried only a few Method products. I liked both the liquid hand soap and the dishwasher detergent (the stuff in little pre-measured pacs). A friend of mine uses the liquid laundry detergent and is very happy with it. At present, my detergent stash is already fabulously obscene and I've tried to practice self-control when it comes to buying more product, but I know I'll eventually cave and buy some Method stuff and give it a try.

Costco had a three-pack of Method HE a year or so ago, and I've found it works well enough on bath towels - leaves them softer than any other HE detergent I've tried. But now I use a combination of STPP and grated Ivory bar soap for towels, even better.

Tried their softeners. They work good, but leave things a little waxy if you overdo it. The green bottle was stinky, but the blue bottle was really nice.

Glen only uses Method when he goes to Target?

Nice package!

hmmm No wonder my "fabulous" sensibilites chime in when I see that brand. I just LOVE the design of their product packaging.

And I thought my gaydar was totally a relic, out-of-phase and screwed-up! HA! Still works. (DAMN you metrosexuals with your mixed messages!)

Gotta get me some.

Method at Vons/Safeway

I spotted Method dishwashing soap a few years ago at the local (Palm Springs) Vons store because of the distinctive bottle. I was pretty intrigued, so I bought a bottle with the lavender scent and found that it worked well .. and the smell reminded me of my grandma (aww....)

The bottle itself, although stylish, drips. The dispensing hole is located in the middle of the skirt on the bottom and has a valve. Unfortunately, the valve leaks, making little puddles on the counter. Messy and expensive air freshener. I solved the problem by placing the Method on my Japanese-y, Edna Mode sushi plate. Very bonsai looking. Until the soap ran out, then went the way of all flesh.

Method is avalilable here in the UK in the upmarket supermarket chain Waitrose (part of John Lewis Partnership).

We have the Method Cucmumber Cleaning Spray in our local branch and as much as love my Cif Orchid Spary for the kitchen Id love to try it, so next time im in Waitrose il pick some up.

Will let ya'll know what I think when I get some.

Nick
