The washer I´m describing is 35 years old. They were built in Mexico in the mid 70´s. This model is a AD298, it´s the most complete model. I will describe all the control panel then add some pictures and videos from a washing cycle. From right to left we first have the control knob, it has only 3 washing programs: Regular cycle (with 15 to 5 minutes agitation, spin, rinse, last spin (it lasts about 10 minutes)), Delicate cycle (with 3 min agitation, spin, rinse, last spin), Prewash (with 5 minute agitation and spin), then we have the water economizing push bottom (by pressing it while it´s filling you can make the washer start its agitation and stop filling at any time, it can even start without water, this means this washer has only one automatic water level that can be modified at any time; then we have the wash/spin speed selector, it has 4 combinations normal/normal, normal/gentle, gentle/normal, gentle/gentle, beside is the wash/rinse water temperature selector it has 5 combination hot/cold, hot/warm, cold/cold, warm/warm, warm/cold, at the end it has a the soaking selector using this you can soak your clothes from 15 minutes up to 20 hours, this could only be used in the regular cycle, you select the time you want it to soak while its filling, and after it´s full the agitation will not proceed until the soaking time ends.

As you can see it uses the spirilator agitator, its tub doesn´t have holes, it has only a hole line on the top of the tub where water drains while its filling to fill the outer tub or while it´s spinning. A curious thing about this washer is that the outer is just filled about 10 cms instead of filling the whole tub. This is done to make the Filter Flo work, and while its agitating water keep going through the holes avoiding the outer tub gets empty so the water keeps recirculating. (I´ll post some pictures later of its insides).
