Microwave standing waves

I just saw this interesting photo posted on a RF engineering Facebook group. The photo shows a tray of silica gel desiccant being heated to dehydrate it in a microwave oven. One can clearly see the power distribution in the color of the desiccant.

The post didn't state if there was a turntable in the oven or it is was on old stirrer model.
