I have one of those Whirlpool microwaves with the browner built in, works fine for some things.  I moved it out to the garage when I added my convection microwave, not sure which I prefer.  I'd love one that did both, I know Maytag used to make one.

Whirlpool offered n oven like that here Matt. Is it a counter top model, or a microvent?
I'm only familiar with the GE Advantium type that uses halogen.
Tappan made microwaves with electric heating element browners years ago.
I still have the browning grill from my first Litton. You have to pre heat it.

It's an OTR model from a number of years ago.  Maytag used to make perfect 3 in one unit that I sadly miss, Microwave/convection oven/broiler or any combination of the three.

 

My WP has both a halogen light and an infrared element.  You can add up to 40% microwave power to it for quick cooking.  Came with a tall rack fro broiling and a crisper pan to sear stuff.  HAd a non-stick interior to boot, my new KA conv/micro is stainless and a pain to clean.

The beauty of this oven is that I can use it as normal as a microwave and oven reaching 200 degrees. I use a lot more of the traditional oven ... today I made cookies .. soon the new video on the channel

I remember a microwave convection counter top oven that was stainless inside though.
Whirlpool products in Europe and down under are altogether different than USA ones. At least since O'Malleys Whirlpool became defunct.
