Toggle, that backdoor will probably get painted white, the veneer is damaged and has holes in it from various window treatments. Typically the doors in the house are the original luaun with a transparent finish and I want to keep them that way. But I did make an exception for the front door, for the same reasons noted here. The shoe mold is the same white oak that runs through the house and will need to stay that way due to a lack of good transition at the breakfast room. Actually, if there had been a good way to change that, I would have had a flash cove installed with the linoleum. The door and window trim through the house is white, but the base is the wall color since it's a very minimal base and it just needs to go away. The walls everywhere else is Sherwin-Williams "Relaxed Khaki" but in these two spaces I went one shade lighter ("Wook Skein") due to a lack of natural light.
