Hi everyone,

I'm hoping someone can help me locate the service manual for the new Miele G 7000 series dishwashers.

My searches have come up empty-handed.

Thanks

I don't think its available

If the manual enters the public arena, it's because someone has let it escape.
(A bitter employee perhaps?)

An issue with your new baby?

If it's programming/options/diagnostics then it probably follows the G 6000.

Nope

Can't find one yet.

But entering service and diagnostic modes are the same for mine.
Though with the higher end touch-button versions you might wanna try the way for the current washers (instead of turning the machine on with the start button held, you turn the machine on with the door open, hold start and then close the door).

I've been looking for a 6 series service manual and that is not available either. I did find a 5 series guide and from that, I see that the configuration in the sump on the 6 is different than the 5. The 6 is closer to the 7 series than the 5, plus the programs are different so the manual doesn't help much. As for programming the manual says to refer to a separate document but does not give its name.

My model has the touch buttons and display screen on the top of the door and no display screen on the front, and no start button either, so I haven't been able to figure out any sequence to use to enter programming mode. Henne, I've done all of my activity with the door open are you saying I should press some keys and then close the door, then open it again?

Rod good luck with the search and please let us know if you find it.

At least for the 1000/2000 fully integrated models, it's always been: dishwasher off, press and hold button xyz while turning the machine on, press button xyz button again five times while holding it down at the fifth time until the menu pops up.

Yeah

But since machines switched to touch sensitive start buttons, the trigger is no longer turning the machine on but closing the door.

For washers for example it is door open machine on.
Hold Start, close door. Then flashing starts and then you either press 3 or 5 times like usual

Programming

Thanks for your help. I can get into the programming mode, but I would like to know more about how the wash program algorithms work and what the actual setting modifies the machine.
I have a G7919 and have seen that some owners of the G 7000 series have had a remote update for a 2nd interim rinse, but I haven't got it yet. The new app is absolutely horrible.

2nd interim rinse

That's almost the only reason why I got a Siemens with Zeolite: the ability to add an extra rinse via the Shine & Dry button. 🌊 Bosch used to have this option but replaced it with Perfect Dry. Miele would have been twice as expensive.

Yeah, but how are you supposed to do anything when the buttons are hidden by closing the door?

The manual I was referencing either suggested the Clear or Program button to be pressed on hidden control models - neither of which Jerrod's dishwasher has, unfortunately.

Here's what the Technical Documentation states for the fully-integrated Excella. No mention of having to shut the door - although I suppose you'd better shut the door before testing the recirc pump if water is inside the dishwasher. 😁

MY G6987 does not have touch capacitive buttons, It has hard recessed buttons that you press or press to scroll, but to start the machine you just close the door. It has no Clear or Start button just, Back arrow, Down arrow, Up arrow, OK button, Information button, and a Clock button which is used to set a delay start time. The display screen is separate from the button area and has no touch capability.

I have a love-child G6000/G5000

I can put it into service mode with the door open.
Door open, machine off, hold OK down and long-press ON button until a beep.
I then let go of the ON button and push the OK 3x or 5x, but holding on the 3rd or 5th.

It was a G6590 that had a damaged body.
It was all installed into a G5835 which had a faulty pump.
