G7000 series
I have a very early G7100SCi and am pretty happy with it.
But I have to say that if I hadn't got it for half price, I probably wouldn't have been quite as happy with it.
Main reason for that is that for the price it was, I could get almost 2 Bosches with CrystalDry at the time.
The pros are what you expect from a Miele.
The feel of the door, racks and controls is MILES ahead of anything else.
Everything still is very Miele.
The biggest downside are long cycle times.
The G7000 wash system has a few differences over the G6000 that make it that obscenely efficient.
The cuttlery drawer has it's own spray zone - so its every rack seperatly.
Further, which I think is new, is the pulsed wash on many cycles. Instead of running the pump at one speed, once it has heated, it alternates between high pressure and low pressure in a few second intervals.
That gives the advantage of a high pressure wash with the water usage of a low pressure wash.
All that together means that your sensor cycle - at least in Europe - runs 3h basically every time.
The Eco cycle is 4h - but almost 2h of that is just drying.
The more nuanced stuff is the biggest part.
It washes and drys perfectly in my opinion.
However - it's not better than the Bosch I mentioned before.
Recommendation: Tilt the upper rack, one side high, one side low. Makes water drain way better.
The loading you have to like. Especially the bottom rack has a learning curve.
You'll want to seperate one area for your regular plates, and the rest is for bits and bobs like bowls and pans.
I place my dinner plates on the left back side, with the top basket dropped on the left side.
Then I can arrange other plates and flat items on the right back, and fill up with pans and bowls.
All of that can mean you will fit way more in there.
However, if all your DW does is wash the same dozen plates all the time, any other DW is way less hazzle to load.
They are certainly high quality, well performing machines.
Not a straight no caviates recommendation - mainly because of the price.
But certainly no do not buy!
