Miele Powdered Laundry Detergents

Always on the lookout for trying something new or different, I decided to

venture off the beaten past of regular laundry detergents, and ordered some

Miele Ultra white powder detergent(yes I know its pricey) and Miele Ultra

color powder detergent. I am not a Miele washer owner, just curious to hear if

anyone has used them and what they thought of the performance of them.

I've used the Ultra White powder off and on in my Miele 1213. I used powdered Tide with Bleach for years because it worked great and I liked the old scent, but when they changed it a few years ago and made it very "perfumy" I wanted something different. The Ultra White powder has a nice "clean" smell, and seems to clean just as well as Tide (at least in my Miele washer on the Extra White cycle). It's a bit pricey, but you need very little so a box will last quite a while.

Miele Ultra White - Best on the Market

I believe Miele Ultra White power detergent is the best on the market. After trying a complimentary box of Miele Ultra White in our Miele Little Giants, the results was amazing (especially on our white towels - smells fresh and very white). The only alternative I can compare with is using Clorox Bleach Crystals - which is very difficult to find.

I have used it on and off for several years. The ultra-white is amazing and rinses so clean, and there is no unpleasant scent left behind. The ultra color is very good too. The detergents are very concentrated, so I would try dosing less than the box recommends until you find the amount that is good for you. Use more for heavily soiled large loads and less on regular soil and small loads.

amazing stuff!

I used the Ultra White powder a few times over the weekend, used less than

recommended for the loads and I am VERY pleased with the results! Used Hot water

from the tap(my LG does not have a heater)Low suds, Clear rinses, clean light

scent. Even took out some old stains! I defiantly recommend this detergent!

I did receive the Ultra color Powder detergent today, will try it out very soon.

If you want to try this, you might want to wait until after the tariffs are lifted-- just saying. The price on Vernel went through the roof with them.

I still have plenty of Persil powder purchased at pre-tariff prices.
