Hai,
Collegue of mine brought his dryer to me to check (and maybe keep it ^^). When I performed and initial checkup I saw the heater getting hot (a red glow behind the back of the drum) but suddnly it stopped. All other components of the dryer are working (motor and electronics are doing fine). I checked the spiralheater (with a wattage of 3000 watt) and I got 23.5 Ohm. Form my point of view it means that the heater is not blown so should work. My next thought was that one or both thermostats gave up... they can be replaced but do you guys think of something else?
