I have a W1918 Novotronic (16yr) with ~6400 cycles- Have replaced an inlet valve 3 yrs ago, and, this week a door seal. The door seal has abraided away due to the Inner basket drum coming out of 'round' (10mm).
No clue how this happened after all this time...
This deformation allowed the drum to hit the door seal and 'burn through' the seal, at high RPM-(1200-1600)
Has any tech on these boards seen this happen? I was able to bring the basket opening back into (close to round 3mm off) by using an expansion clamp and exerting pressure on the lip.
Thanks in advance,
Al
