Minneapolis Memorial Day Wash-In

Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support AutomaticWasher.org:

Saturday night, we had a bunch of people for a wash-in. It was great to see everyone again, it's surprising how many people are in the are. We met Matthew (little edie) at the grocery store and tried to call him but only had a work number!

David & Dennis and two of their friends who are washer fans, Karen (miss jetcone), Jed (lebron) Don (jetaction) and his partner Scott, Jeff from Foley, MN and John (gyromatic) and his partner Chris. It was a great crowd and such great fun to see them again. Guess which machine was the hit of the night??

Hey Greg, Robert, and Fred, so glad that you guys are having a great weekend but with such good company nothing else would be possible. Of course the "Apex" had to be the star of the event!!! Enjoy the rest of the weekend and have a safe trip home!!! Terry

Yay! Thanks for sharing pics. Fittingly, the Apex was the star of the show. I'm just surprised Jed isn't kneeling in front of the Wizard, since I know what a huge fan he is of Franklin transmissions and indexing tubs, LOL!

The inflatable Hoover air-balloon must have been an awesome sight at night. I'll bet Robert's neighbors have never seen anything like that, before.

Hope everyone in AW-land is having a great Memorial weekend.

:)

CRAP! I wish I could have joined! Thanks for posting Greg. Certainly looks like everyone had a good time. I can tell a Filtrator wasn't running in the background - no one is sweating! (quite WARM down here).

One last thing - Jed, pull your shorts up!

Ben

a "wash-in" what could be better!?! friends getting together to enjoy and share knowledge of these beautiful nostalgic machines!

and in minneapolis! i lived in mpls. for 7 years back in the late 70's thru the early 80's and people there are very festive and fun oriented! i can just imagine what a washer party would be like! it's a great city!

i hope to make a dishwasher "wash-in" myself someday

Yay!

You guys look like you are having so much fun! Can't wait to see more pictures! I love all of Robert's machines....but I just really love that Apex!
I have to be tacky and ask....because I am a little slow at times....I take "host" as meaning that Fred and Robert are an item now?
Like I said I am slow....at times.
If you are....you guys make a very cute couple!
If so I wish you the best!!!!
If not....think about it?
Thanks for the pictures guys!
Brent
