I have a question. Now that Colemann has lost another decision (he won't gain enough votes to win on the 7th). Should he give up or take it to first the Minnesota supreme court (which has pretty much hinted, they'd stick with the lower courts' decisions) and then to the Supreme Court, hoping for another Bush versus Gore?
I can't help but wonder if the Justices wouldn't be less inclined to help a fellow conservative Republican this time around. They have to know that it would mandate Obama replacing the (sadly) at least two moderate Justices who will soon step down with die-hard, young Democrats...and should (given their ages and Robert's poor health) one of the conservatives fail, he'd not be in a mood to put in a moderate as he originally suggested.
Or am I just letting my fevered imagination get away with me?
What do you folks, especially in Minnesota think?
(Let's not forget here that many on the left think Franken is a major cluster-fcuk of a jerk).
