Hi all.

I received an e-mail from a mixer enthusiast who is part of AW.

He is curious to know if anyone is interested in a "mixer-fest" where the theme of the day/evening will be ........mixers!

I can't host in that I have a small 3-room apartment. He is not sure if he can host, but is located on the south shore of Suffolk County Long Island. (Lovely place but not very central).

So is anyone in the Tri-state area (NY, NJ CT) interested in attending or hosting such a mini-meet?

As I told my new friend the gatherings at Rich & Chuck's in Massachusetts rarely involve a washer or a DW, but we have a grand old time just the same. You dont have to have a mixer collection to attend.

Thoughts? opinions?

Come out of the closet all you mixer lovers! LOL
 
Drat!

I wish I could attend this little soirée - I should soon have HRH, the Princess Dormeyer, complete. I have located both her missing turntable and a set of stainless bowls, plus a manual.

Alas, it is not to be. Perhaps I could do some sympathetic mixing as a remote...

Sorry, But Couldn't Resist:

Here's a "Before and After" shot of the Princess I just showed in the photo above. The sticker you see in the "Before" shot had evidently been on H.R.H.'s royal flanks forever; lighter fluid would not budge it, and WD-40 took most of a day to work, with lots of rubbing. The sticker is gone now, with no damage, but you would not believe how much work it was.

You didn't mention Mass but...

Chuck and I could be talked into (very easily) hosting one since I'm a mixer collector. Sounds like it could be a lot of fun. Perhaps a bit of a swap time could be set aside for those of us who have spare mixers, bowls, beaters, juicers etc...

I didn't mention Massachusetts, becuse my new friend specifically thought it was too far to go. GO FIGURE!

I may have to drag his @$$ up there myself!

You see, you see, you see how far we travel to take advantage of your fabulous hospitality R&C? LOL.

OK, you guys host and I'll buy some groceries and cook........

oooh child. If you end-up barefoot and/or pregnant, I repsectfully request all the sordid details!!

And remember gentlemen, it can't be forcible if the neighbors hear someone screaming "Oh daddy **** me like you MEAN it!"

OK Rich and Chuck, if you really want to host I'll drive my new friend there and I'll cook. Really!
 
Hi all!!!

We would be glad to host a get together. I think that we should wait a little bit so that the weather will be better and no threat of snow. I will talk with Chuck and see if we can't come up with a date so that everyone can start planning.

Should it just be mixers or should we include ather small appliances such as toasters, coffee percolators, etc...

Toggles are you referring to the hemeroid relievers that we looked at a couple of years ago at rich and chucks where you put the lightbulb in the line for the amount of heat you wanted? Those are little and portable. lol This will be a fun meeting no doubt.
