Australian team brings laundry services to homeless and remote areas along with showers. Interesting article about adapting equipment and providing a service. I'm not aware of anything like this in the US. For the remote areas they designed a diesel/electric dryer.

There is tides loads of hope truck that goes to areas after disasters and communities of needs and can do up to 300 loads of laundry A-day.

In fact, the program is alerady going/one to the areas in Kentucky that have had all the flooding.

Add in mobile food pantries, book mobiles (librarys), meals-on-wheels, mobile vets, mobile accountants,...

these people don't need to be limited to certain neighborhoods.
