Monitor Top Running

Does anyone who has one know what would cause it to run constantly? It started doing this 2 days ago so with Mike Arnold's help via phone, I used the defrost setting to get rid of the ice build up on the freezing unit. After the ice metled I switched the unit back to the "on" position and it just keeps running and running. The only thing that gets it to shut off is if I switch it to the "off" position. It won't cycle off otherwise. Any thoughts?

I BET THE COLD CONTROL HAS GONE BAD SEE IF YOU CAN GET ANOTHER ONE AND GIVE THAT A TRY

Thank You for the advice. I also had someone advise me to clean/repair or replace the relay switch in the power unit box where the cord attaches. I will look at both.

take your time when you mess with the wires they are old and oh so brittle.. from what i read and what travis has told me if they wont shut off its the cold control bet you love that fridg i know i love mine
