These are fun. This one has a cuter Formica pattern than the plain-white that we have.
It's a good performer, and is stunningly quiet.
Ours falls down at washing tumblers in the top rack, but if you load it up only with dishes you'd find in the 50s/early 60s (i.e., fill it up with coffee cups the way you'd see done as a loading example in the manual), you'll get great results.
The dual flush-through dispenser sure is a boon.
$50 is what we got ours for, too. Looks like this one could use a cabinet repaint too--on ours, the paint didn't like the primer, and came off in snowdrifts.
Remove the back panel and check the fill nozzle that hovers over the dispensers for scale--if there is some present, be sure to clean it off; it can cause the nozzle to spitter and make a mess inside the machine.
