Just beginning to watch Showtime's "Masters of Sex" on Blu-ray. Already in love with Dr Masters' MCM house. Check out the Norge Customatic refrigerator in the kitchen of the brothel. And can anyone tell me what brand of wall oven this is in the Masters' kitchen?

Good eye spotting the Norge refrigerator! Season 2 (running now) begins with a head-lice scare in the Masters' household and one scene opens with piles of laundry all over the kitchen awaiting a turn in the washer & dryer. We hear machines running in the utility room behind the beautiful kitchen...but never get to see! UGGGH, I was so hoping for a laundry room shot.

Great show, isn't it?

Great show!

I don't know if "great" adequately covers seeing Maggie Sheffield from The Nanny as a big, scary ho!

I can't take too much credit for ID-ing the Norge. I initially thought the logo looked like the swirl-topped 'W' for Whirlpool, but then it nagged at me that the vintage would have meant an RCA-Whirlpool, which it wasn't, so when I went back for a closer look the Customatic nameplate was much easier to make out and returned excellent Google results. Thanks to Google, I got a better view of those fantastic door handles. they kind of remind me of abstracted archery bows. The Norge Customatic--taking care of all your family's Hunger Games! (yeah, sorry.)

Western Holly...there's a name I haven't heard before. Can't wait to do a little research on that! (Thanks, Bob!)

Western Holly

I imagine the show is filmed on the west coast somewhere, so that isn't surprising.

If anyone watched the AMC show Halt and Catch Fire over the summer, I ALMOST had a connection to it! My husband's aunt recently told me that when they were selling her father's house after he passed away, the producers were actually considering that house for Gordon and Donna's house because it was still decorated from the 80's. Ultimately, they used another house (I imagine her dad's house was a lot more upscale than the characters would have been able to afford).

The Masters' laundry

I think it was in episode 2 or 3 of season 2 when Mrs. Masters was baring her soul to the young woman she hired to help her with the baby and the housework: the nanny/maid was putting stacks of folded laundry in the basket on top of the dryer. The panel was mostly blocked by the basket, but it was clearly a Maytag.
