I was looking at the Pet Food recall list and I noticed that Natural Balance cans were listed.

Now, I used to feed Natural Balance up to January of this year, dry only of course, but I have never seen their canned food with those flavors! HOBO Stew? Chinese Takeout? Maybe in the California market, but not here in Houston!

Another brand that advertised heavily on how pure and top notch their ingredients are.

In the past few months, two out of three of my dogs have developed thyroid problems. Of course it was the ones who were eating Natural Balance. My vet claims that there shouldn't be a connection, but I'm not so sure.
Fortunately, it's easily controlled with medication.

Thyroid problems are generally a genetically inherited condition that runs in family lines, much like with humans.

But both of these dogs are unrelated to each other. The only thing in common was that they both ate the same dog food.
