Whats all this talk about tangling---------?

I seem to remember a discussion we had on this topic. If you really want to see what a rope she can make set her for the longest wash time possible!!!! The only thing I know of that can make a better rope is a slant-front "Rustinghouse"! Oooops!

Your not the only one that has a Hoover Constellation I also
have one that was given to me by a friend that is a teacher where I am a Custodian at the school where I work. It works very well and all I had to replace on it was the on and off switch which I replaced myself. I also replaced the filter on it with a filter for a shop vac and cut it to fit. It works really well and has great suction. I got my hoover last year toward the end of school. Have fun with yours as these are great vacs. Best Wishes and Happy Thanksgiving!

Great photos, Austin! I couldn't tell from the control dial---does this machine do 2 deep rinses or had they gone to 1 by that time? I seem to recall that a few early Frigidaires did 2 deep rinses. The earliest Frigidaire I've seen operate is a '58. It would be cool to see an earlier model in action.

Jason, I'm sending the "events" emails to you as well...hope you can make it as it will definitely be fun. Might want to bring the camera too :)

I'm going to have more time to work on machines in the next few weeks, and get the Dual-Tumble, Dispensall, and (hopefully after a thorough cleaning and going-over) the '68 Kenmore installed in the shed.

The DD Kenmore is too new (LOL), and I can't do anything with the '82 until I can hit the graveyards and find a control panel that works. If I do, then we can watch the Penta-Vane agitator.

Nice detailed photos of a great classic Frigidaire Austin.Thank you for sharing those fantastic shots!
I load my sheets like you do in all my machines, except for the Filter-Flo. It is the only machine that won't tangle sheets into a big mess if they are wound around the Activator.
