Found this wonderful Hoover Polisher/Scrubber a few months ago and finally had the chance to use it to scrub the kitchen floor on Thursday.

Decided to share some pics with y'all.

Did you just use a mop then, to soak up the scrub water?

Fred,

I did cheat and use a very clean bleach soaked white mop and gallons of fresh hot water to remove the dirty suds.

I find its also advantageous to add a dash of Comfort Fabric Softener to the hot water to cut the suds and leave a wondeful scent on the floor. The suds cut the softeners effects and just the scent remains - so no slippy floors!

If I hadnt of cheated I would of had my Vax upright carpet clenaer out to remove the soapy water and then rinse with fresh water finishing with the Vax to dry the floor.

Every home needs a Hoover Scrubber/polisher I think it such great fun and really does shift the muck you cant see!

Robert that is a beautiful scrubber/polisher. Did you have the Hoover Floor a matics over there that vacuumed up the water when you were done scrubbing? Also that is a really sharp look stove. What kind is it?

The Stove is a (brand) Stoves one.

Cant remeber model number off the top of my head but its all an all gas range.

will take some more pics of it when I get chance - esp ones of the oven (for Toggles, give him a fright of those open flames in the base which I know he likes LOL) and the lit grill etc.

What is the first compartment in the Stove? Is that the grill, or is that another oven?

The top compartment is the grill but it also doubles as a smaller top oven too. The dial rotates in both directions depending on the function you need it on.

Thanks about the hoover compliments. My trusty Miele, the only modern vacuum cleaner you can depend on to get a really good clean carpet and fresh filtered air. ~A cylinder I love dearly which is unusual being un Upright cleaner guy myself.

What a great machine.

I need one like that to scrub my wood floors. The floors show well in that last pic. Are those old fashioned wood floors or modern boards? Very nice looking.

I need to do something with my kitchen floor and those floorboards look very appealing.
