More Shocking Confessions: What creeps YOU out?

alr2903Soft body crawling insect larvae-they just creep me out-don't like to touch or pick them up.The bigger-the WORSE I want to touch it.Around this area there is Tobbacco worms,and tomato worms-closely related.One time my Mom asked me to pick those grotestuqe things from the tomato plants-but I had unexpected help!some wasps came to my rescue and THEY carried away the worms after tearing them apart-each wasp carryed away his favortie part!Was also kinda creepy to watch them.--but the good is saved ME from having to do it
Lately don't like the feel of my sheets against my shingles injury--like sandpaper-use a roll of wallpaper to isolate me from the sheet-the smooth paper irritates the skin less-the wallpaper has no glue on it-EEK! would stuck when I got up!Just have to wait for the shingles thing to heal--folks over 50 and have had chicken pox when they were kids will most likely get shingles when they are older-beleive me its no fun!My dad got it-a workmate got it and even my doctor!I will get a shot to prevent it later.Of all things have to go to the Kroger Pharmacy to get it!How strange is that?The shot will prevent me from getting it again.

I get creeped out by...
Dark figures with hoods, like monks, where u can't see their face <br
Dark rooms I have to walk across, my old workplace was bad for that, huge spaces empty and dark i had to run across to get back to the main kitchen <br
So very creepy..

They had a training at our local Zoo about reptiles last summer. The Zoo keepers said that our adversion to snakes was biblical, and if a dog had given Eve the apple we would be shunning Poodles and sleeping with snakes. <br

As unfortunate as John Merrick was, he was a true living human beign with feelings. There are other unfortunate souls in this world that needs our love not our repulsion. <br
Unless, of course, they look like a snake, then it's no holds barred.

Walk-in refrigeration units like most restaurants have...Something about having all that machinery above my head freaks me out. Will walk into one if I have to, but will be quick to get what I need and get the heck out...Also, compressors for pneumatic air tools - Again, I will use one but am always HIGHLY aware of where it sits (the further away, the better) and if it seems to be running too much <br
Finally, a Cicada that gets into my home. I loose all ability to be logical or even enough reason to get it out of the house.

WASPS BEES HORNETS
Anything that flys and stings!, we have a particularly BAD species of hornet here in the south, the technical name is European Hornet,it looks like a 2 to 3 inch long yellow jacket and makes a HUGE nest...BAD NEWS if you stumble upon it by accident!

I agree on the flying stinging things. Bees make honey. What do wasps and hornets do. Yeah, I've seen those nasty big suckers too. We had them in New Orleans <br
My big fear is medical stuff. Doctors, dentists, needles, shots, medical equipment, operating rooms. I guess that's why the Tommy Acid Queen bit is so freaky to me <br
When I was younger, it used to be the dark, loud noises, and of course the medical stuff <br
I never was afraid of clowns. I would be more afraid of REAL PEOPLE and how they really act rather than a clown who entertains and can make you laugh.

There is a group of very conservative people on this blog who delete my threads and those of others whom they don't agree with politically all the time
You'll notice that one of them, Rickr, puts up nasty pictures of trolls whenever I post on a thread, for instance.

Talking about nasty stingers, what really makes me nervous are horse flies! Wasps and bees are not really interested in you unless you disturb them and mosquitoes, well I don't notice much when they sting. But horse flies, they give me large swellings that itch for days...brrrr! And once they have tracked you, they follow you everywhere, even inside.
High rise apartment balconies, and staircases with no railings.
