Mainly because when I worked for ANZ bank, I had to relieve in Cooma, a town near the snow fields... <br
I walked upstairs doing the morning security check on the first day and thought I saw a very naked man... <br
...Well, I screamed and moved the fastest I had ever done down stairs....out the back door of the bank and over to the two ladies waiting for me to unlock.... <br
They were laughing so hard they nearly wet themselves....knowing full well that I had met 'Roger'...who they had moved to the kitchen door so he was silouetted by the morning light.... <br

supreme whirlpool, even though i am gay and have kissed many a man i was not offended in the least by what you said! i got a kick out of it! hey it's your right! next time you come down to pick up that kitchenaid/whirlpool you want i will make sure i'm not kissing anyone when you get here <br
been watching for a motor/pump for that machine for you, still have seen none on e bay that are reasonably priced.
maybe i will drive up with it later this spring to get it to you, need the space here ha ha! <br
as for what creeps me out, <br
dark fast moving water like creeks and rivers at nite! love the ocean and the great lakes but rivers scare me! especially if i am in them! ohio river does nothing for me, give me lake erie any day!
 
The things that creep me out are: <br
Rooms done in Victorian heritage design. They remind me of funeral parlors or dead people. Therefore funeral parlors themselves are on my list. <br
Snakes! <br
Public Restrooms. You never know what nasties are in there. <br
Dead animals, mainly squished ones on the side of the road. <br

Now I have known several people who are afraid of fish. We went to a steakhouse one time with a group of people and one woman ordered the fresh trout. The guy who was afraid of fish had to leave the table and go eat in the bar, but not before berating the woman for totally destroying his evening. Strangely enough, the same guy was afraid of birds. When we were leaving he told us not to walk too close to the trees (it was night) as we might disturb the birds and they'll fly and make him vomit!
 
WHIRLCOOL!!

EASY NOW! I live in a victorian house - completed in 1898 Though I will say that a majority of the furniture is a mixture of Arts & Crafts and Mission with a little East Lake thrown in for good measure. The house itself is very pretty and ornate so we did make the decision to decorate it in a more simplifided manner. <br
As for funeral homes - It's mostly the formaldehyde the creeps me out & actually makes me extremely nauseated.

Reminded me of watching Lydia work wearing her dangle-ey bangle bracelets and giant watch.

atually if that is raw meat so close to the tomatoes and the breadsticks, I'd get the Kaopectate or Immodium ready! <br

Been to a few of those as part of my job. My guide through the building usually laughs as I speak to the stiffs. "Excuse me fellas and ladies, just taking a few pictures." One time someone pulled the sheet up over a deceased young lady. I didn't see a thing, but WHY her boobies may have been exposed was beyond me. <br
I may not have pictures of cadavers in my photos that the secretary inserts in my reports. She freaked out and hit the ceiling
 
Spiders!

I second you, Chris! And you are sure brave for putting your foot so close to that awful thing (goosebumps all over)! Yuuuuck! Here in the upper Midwest, our "big" wolf spiders aren't nearly the size as other species in the United States or around the world. For that I am glad.
 
Large bugs and I have no issues. They get the telphone book slammed on them. It's all the liquids that ooze out that literally make me gag. GD gag reflex is back!
 
I have a few friends who own victorian homes in Galveston. Most have an updated victorian style which isn't too bad. One woman called it "modernized victorian". I can get along with this style. I don't get the least bit creeped out by this one:

Did u ever notice that Lidia never gets anything on her blouse, even though half of her chest is in the frying pan? LOL...I love Lidia by the way, my aunt met her and told her that her wardrobe people buy two of everything....that explains that.

Alan. Maybe beacuse it looks most like a Old Funeral Parlor, I dont like them either.
 
Warm Shoes

Growing up with 5 siblings and being a clothes horse, my brothers would often take my clothes without asking. I remember one time in particular when I made my brother give me my shoes back. I put my feet in them and the shoe was warm and moist. To this day I have a thing about sharing shoes. I find it almost unbearable to cruise the clothing department in a thrift store and catch the collective smell of all those old, used shoes for sale. It makes the barefoot in the spider scene look pretty inviting.
 
Clowns,Spiders,and I'm I the only one who has terrifying things happen to them.I feel hands touch me at nite and you can't move or scream because something is sitting on your chest.You know your awake wide awake and you sense there is somebody or something watching you but rarely see the shadows/hat people and when you do you wish you never have.People for the most part find it hard to grasp but when it happens to you it changes everything from then on.
 
Night Terrors

I was plagued for a while with catastophic obstacles in my dreams and I could neither speak out or move to warn others or save myself. My doctor asked what was on my mind and I was weghing several weighty matters. The general consensus is that we can control our subconscious and thoughts while awake but in deep sleep the brain is busy sorting out the issues we can't or won't address while lucid. I got better when I made decisions I had been putting off. I also moved to a different apartment where I felt more secure and for my birthday my daughter Kati bought me a white noise machine. I am amazed at how well it works.
 
Coal Mines

For some reason, It really bothers me when I see pictures or clips of men who would have to lay down on a flatbed trailer or railway cars to go inside the mine shafts. I get short of breathe just thinking about this

Yea I have heard of Sleep Paralysis which is when you wake up but your mind is still in.R.E.M. mode so you dont act out your dreams in your sleep.This is different very different,I know I am awake fully awake and alert.Our House is sits on the sec bloodiest battle of the Civil war well we are very close Missionary Ridge Tn/G.A line runs through us.Hell there is monuments in our front yard.I do know that what ever this is that its VERY real and until somebody faces it and goes through it your life is changed in every facet.We have found cannon balls in the ground and buttons,bullets.It don't happen every night it comes in waves and then stops.I have been told that to expect anything because of where the house is and anytime there has been a battle or something like that things change.I have never played with a ouija board or tarrot cards and never will.I just think that is playing with fire and to think that its just a game well could be true but then again what if its not.
 
Not too much bothers me but...

The one thing that creeps me out and I HATE HATE HATE is Renaissance Fairs. Have no idea why, never been to one and will never go.
