Here is a link to my yahoo photo album which includes 42 pictures of washer and dryers from the appliance grave yard i found last week... There are quite a few GE's and Whirlpools
Picture #10 is a 1986l (like mine) or 1987 Lady Kenmore (my Shredmore). Picture 13 is the very exact same GE dryer I bought April 1978, even the right dial color and button panel markings lol. Picture #40 is teh dryer my friends got when they replaced their unknown age LK dryer and the Kenmore 400 the repairman father-in-law found for them when they got married in 1983. That was Maytag's BOL dryer. Picture #58, the two far right maytags--one on the left is Halo-of-Heat and the one on the right is the new Big Load design.
I'm stumped. I get a message at Yahoo that says "Uh-oh, something bad happened" when I click on your link, above. Seems the others are getting to it.....any clues? I'd lvoe to see those pictures.
Lots of interesting stuff there. I never knew there were Jenn Air laundry appliances. I don't imagine there are now.
I had that 1995 Kenmore, the one that was supposedly never used (so why do you suppose it was sitting in a junkyard if it was never used?)
Had a Whirlpool with the same controls as in picture 019, but it was belt drive not Design 2000, a 29" machine, standard capacity with a surgilator and recirculating filter.
I dunno why it was there... It still had all its packing amterials and such..May have been stuck back in the warehouse with damage? I would like to bring it home, but i am leery of bringing anything from there as there are big signs stating don't take anything or you will be arrested..But oddly enough there are no cameras and no one really seems to be around or care if your there...
I have seen a touch control dryer by jenn air as well..Nice machenie
Many times, the people installing the new appliance will put the packing material in the old one. Looks like new stuff.
I had a Jenn Aire washer at one time, believe it was a Norge design.
