Only $6 off Ebay.

My son and I got inspired after watching a show on (Food Channel I think) kids--boys and girls--entering contests with baked good from Easy Bake ovens. My son asked if it would be "wierd" if he got one. I said, not wierd at all! Nothing wrong with trying your hand at cooking.

The new units, of course, were quickly passed over for a vintage model. This is from 1969. It needs to be cleaned, but it came with both bulbs which work, all three pans, and the cooling rack, which prevents the last tray from falling out. I might also scan the front labels, fix the printing, then reprint them. The unit itself is dirty but does not look used much. The manual even has non-mix recipes to make, scaled for this unit.

Wow, Kevin--

these things usually go for some sick money!

You and your son were lucky.

I never wanted one as a kid, not because they were marketed towards girls, but that by that time, Ma was letting me use the real oven (with her supervision.)

The Suzy Homemaker washer-dryer, that was another story!
