Well last time I got into hot water, this time I’m in the frying pan and sleeping on the sofa for the next ten years.

Three new vacuums to restore.

Goblin Triumph

Hi, first time posting on vacuumland, normally fine me on automaticwashers. This is the oldest vacuum I have come to own and wondered if any one else has one, and could tell me a bit about it date wise. Here we go with some photos. Lee

Those "Connies" look like they have a bad case of Acne.

I found them in a garden shed I have walked past hundreds of time in the last 20 years, a tree fell in the bad storms we had at start of the week and opened up the view of the contents, I spotted the yellow and white one on a shelf in the window and went to see the owner, who was more the glad to part with it, on going into the shed I found the rose and white one on the bare ground inside as well.

Different ends of the spectrum

The pink on is the first version of the side mounted hose Connie, the yellow one almost the last - the very last ones having a rocker rather than toggle switch

LOL Lee you might be in the frying pan and sleeping on the sofa but you do such beautifal restorations.  These are great and I can hardly wait for your postings of how the restorations are going.

That Goblin is beautiful,

But those constellations! Holy moly. I have never seen them in quite that disrepair.

And I know they can be saved in your hands! I admire your work on these like none other, and cant wait to see pictures of the finished product!

If I knew how to take them apart, I would give my model 84 a try as it has some rust. But I just dont know where to start!
