Never heard of this, wonder what it looked like for those roaster, large platters, and other service piecse for holiday dinners. Fascinating. Wonder how they did it with the full size spray arm under the top rack.

An aunt of mine had the pushbutton model in Coppertone. She had it for 29 years and only parted with it because she sold her home.

WASTEKING SS DISHWASHERS
Its amazimg how all they talk about is the [ so called SS interior ] and say nothing about the plastic coated all pot-metal pump assembly that many times would a cororred mess in less than 5 years. They were offen such a mess that you not only replaced the motor but the heating element as well, made for a pretty expensive repair, I lot of them were replaced at this point. They also had plenty of problems with bad door hinges, springs, door latches and broken wires where they go through the hinge area. I can only think of one customer that still has a late 1980s left in operation. However they were still no where as bad as D&M, W. Westinghouse or the non GM built Frigidare dishwashers.
Over the past 30-50 years 25-50% of dishwashers sold in the US were pretty poor in the durability department and this made for a huge replacement market. In the over 30 years that we have had our company we have sold far more DWs than any other appliance, littereley thousands. They have been 80% WPs with some KAs, GEs and a very few MTs. A good machine machine can last 15-30 years or even more in some cases, but a DW is one of the more easily destroyed machines depending on how it is used, pre-rinsing easily kills more DWs every year than all other causes put together.

Back in the mid-eighties, one of my neighbors had one like the "250 series" above. I really liked the look of the control panel and the stainless steel interior but I remember that the baskets were in really bad shape and a local appliance repairman (while repairing my mom's Inglis dishwasher) then told me that these Waste King dishwashers were a waste of money as they had bad pumps.

Oh.....So stainless steel interiors are not new? Didn't know that. Cool!
I find it "interesting" on the 750 series there's mention the timer will advance to start after dong a Rinse & Hold cycle. and there appears to be no function of that happening on the 910 series after the R&H. Either it didn't, or they accidentally ommitted it in the documentation. Particularly since they both end the R&H cycle at the same point in the over all scheme of things--right before the main wash.
