Hi guys I need help from the mature guys/members of this home from home web site, I am hopfully soon going to be moving appartments/flat. Where I live the whole of the street has taken part in a street refurbishment scheme, that is to have new external wall built, new front doors etc. Just to bring the whole street up to standard and to make the area look nice, Now due to debts and various money problems. These I am now glad to say have been taken care of with a process called a debt relief order, your debts need to be under £15000 to qualify. It only costed me £90 for a 1 off payment, this has to be done through "THE INSOLVANCY PRACTITIONER" Your creditors CAN NOT and legally have to stop asking you for money, and after 1 year your debts are wrote off. Its not bankruptsy if your debts were over £15000, then yes you would be advised to go bank rupt. Ok my point is tha landlord isnt taking part in the street refurbishment, as this would have been an ideal time to redecorate my present flat. He is not going ahead to to h*** with him. Time to move on, as I am heading to my 50s I want a nice place to live and want to feel settled so I have enquired about a place not to far away the rent is only £1.30 per week more. £390.00 a month is an avarage rent in my area, New rent £395 a month. It is advertised as having new kitchen new bathroom and shower new decoration and is alarmed I have been in my old place 15 years. The other good thing about the new flat is, the property is accredited with my local council which means the flat has a very high standard. I have not seen the flat yet as the present tenant is still living there but he has been given his marching orders, he has left the property is a bad state. I need tips and suggestions as to help the move go smooth, the new land lord has to get cleaners in to bring the flat back to the councils standards. I also have to submit vetting forms for suitability, they just want to know if I have been a good boy and paid my rent on time. Time to get the washer going lol
