Moffatt v Maytag v Frigidaire

Hi Roger

Looks a wonderful new to you cooker, we had the Moffatt cookers here in the 60`s, see the pic below, is was definatly a de-lux appliance, not many of these about,

A friends mum had one and I was always fascinated with the rotisserie and the controls on the second oven & grill etc..

The Frigidaire models where available as well, 39 of them in different sizes & colours according to an Ideal Homes advert.

How many amps would this pull, what would you need to connect it to your supply etc??

Happy baking, Mike

RE: Moffat Cooker:

Hi! Mike, thats a great looking Cooker. I'm curious to know however, what are the 4-Knobs above the Clock/Timer on the Right Side? Also the view of the Upper Oven, is the Door opened, it looks like there isn't any Door at all on the Oven? Any idea about how old this would be, it looks like "pre" Self-Cleaning Ovens, I don't see any Self-Clean Controls or Oven Latch, for the Bottom Oven. I do know that some do have an Auto Latch Mechanism, instead of Manual Latching for Self-Cleaning.

Peace and Happy Cooker Food Preparing, Steve
