I haven't used it yet, but some of you have spoken highly of it...

Do you think that it would remove black heel marks from flat white painted walls?

I'm never telling how those marks happened.

Ben's on the mark with this, no pun intended. Those Magic Erasers are great. I've had better results using them on semi-gloss than on flat paint, but both times the Eraser removed the marks. (It also a removed a little of the flat paint, but it was an icky color anyway.)

The Magic Eraser is also terrific for cleaning the soleplate on irons, and it works quite nicely at removing car wax from black bumper trim.

I've worn out a few...

they will take marks off walls and not ruin the paint, and work as well on vinyl floors & tile as well.
Try one Lawrence, it will be money well spent!

dahlink,

They do work...but the price you pay for the same product varies enormously. They are nothing more than a slightly abrasive closed cell foam, neither new nor revolutionary.
They do, however, work extremely well on things which must not get wet or be subject to chemicals.
The get used up very fast and cats like to chew on them, so careful.
Tip: Five and Dime stores usually have them in 10 or 20 packs for less than the name brand 2x you can get at the store.
Oh, slightly moistened (when possible) they clean better.
I would, however, first try stale white bread. The gluten works quite well for such stains.
Not that I have any personal knowledge of such, er, incidents.
No.
'Course not.

They are supposed to be slightly moistened and not used dry. If they're too wet they don't work as well. They sort of remind me of those brown artist gum erasers that crumble as you erase. I like them

They are good for lots of things. White soles of shoes clean up great with them as well as cleaning the marks on the walls. My kids get everything on the walls and most of the time, they will clean up great.

Just make sure not to rub one on your skin anywhere, it will cause a terrible chemical burn. I wear gloves when I use mine. My friends son took a dry one to his face and he had 1st and 2nd degree burns and blisters on his face. It was nasty.
