So I know the Westinghouse D-6 Dryer plays "How Dry I Am." Were there any other appliances that played music? Just curious.

My 2008 LG 9810 dishwasher plays this melody at the end of each cycle.

In the 1950s the French company "ELAUL" launched a "Singing Coffee Mill".
It featured a timer to preselect how coarse or fine your ground coffee would come out. At the end when time was up, a small mechanical music box in the bottom of the base unit would play a little melody.

I beleive there was a TOL Hotpoint range in the late 50s with a 'roast ready' signal that played 'Tenderly' when the roast was done.
Some F&P agitator toploaders and some DishDrawers can play music on a hidden key sequence for novelty purposes.

The top of line Hoover Sensotronic in the late 80s alerted you when the bag was full, a blockage etc.

When I visited my sister and brother in law living in Japan, their washer and dryer both played a happy little tune when they were finished. I always thought that was a much better alternative to the extremely harsh and annoyingly loud buzzer that's so common here.

The DishDrawer sounds like a truck backing up when it finishes (Beep. Beep. Beep Beeeeeeeeep). Like Dadoes said, you can play two demo songs, one of them being an F&P song, the other being "In the Hall of the Mountain King." There is also a 5 minute demo cycle, surprisingly enough.
The Miele sounds like a very loud and effective alarm clock, if you so choose to use the Buzzer (Brrrp! Brrrp! Brrrp! - In rapid succession!)

Push a button to make some selections - more singing and dinging. Hit start, now it has to sing "Oooo! I am about to wash your clothes! I am a noisy little pr*ck!" Door locks machine starts. Then, what do you know? It sings again at the End! AAARRGGG! If I had to put up with this for a month, either myself or the washer would be DEAD afterwards... Thats how much I despise this
