UPDATE
I am getting a new washer tomorrow, turns out the landlord has ordered...a second hand Indesit, he said its cold fill only but I shall make sure its installed properly, as our existing broken machine was connected to the hot tap, but this went into the cold valve resulting in everything washed and rinsed in water coming straight from the boiler.
I shall tell the person fitting the machine about this error tomorrow and ensure that its plumbed in correctly
All I can say is its an Indesit, but Im not fussed, as long as my clothes get washed in a drum that doesn't have a big gaping hole in it, then thats fine
