My birth washer

Hi everyone I have received my birth washer aka the washer that I was born with but it is not completely the same model… I need these following parts…console 3359212, timer 3351734, water level switch 3356466, temperature switch 661535… if you find any of the following part numbers I am in need of them… let me know ASAP… thanks!!

ScantPear1985 has recovered the washer that started his obsession. It's not the exact same as it but very similar. I also Recovered mine. The only difference between the one I got now and the one I had in the past is there is no pause in the timer on Permanent Press Cycle. Anyway, ScantPear1985 is looking for those parts to make it the exact same. Mine is close enough.

Is it JUST the washer and dryer that were present in your household at the time of your birth that you're looking for?

How about the other appliances, furniture, automobile, dishes, etc.?

If after one is born, a month later your parents received a new laundry pair because they realized with kids clothes they'd need something reliable, is THAT new set void and not count because it wasn't present at your birth?

Are we believing that the washer and dryer that were present at your birth are some how responsible for your life and ....you have a unique bond with such?
Or do you have a womb based discrepancy that needs to be battled out with this yet undiscovered/recovered laundry pair?

Just asking for a friend...

My parents had the $119 pump model Kenmore when I was born. I now have the $129 '48 "semi-automatic" now that runs fine and washes my animal towels and blankets.

This is the washer I grew up with until I moved in 2006. Wasn’t a matched set since it was paired up with a Kenmore 60 series (?) electric dryer from 1987 but closest photo I could find to my childhood/birth washer.

One sound that’s nostalgic to me is when it would engage into the spin cycle and distinctly remember hearing it engage into the spin whenever I happened to be near it and that is one of the reasons that got me into vintage machines even though it was from 1997. All Maytags from 1966 to 2006 if I am not mistaken all make the same or similar sound when they engage into the spin.

I hope no one's being negative. We just need to know the rules here.

I'm as big a fan of walking in retro-land as anyone, believe me.

The first washer & dryer we had was an early 60s Frigidaire with the up&down agitator that had a rubber cover that went over the activator. I guess one put the detergent inside?
And an electric bol early 60s Maytag dryer with a flat short panel and a door handle(not a knob). Both in white. But I don't need them back.

I'm excited for everyone pursuing the appliances and furniture of their childhood....if that's whats a doin' here. Count on me for the cheering section.

Dan, is there a prior thread that mentions the make and model of the subject washer, or could there be a bug in the system that deleted only that information from the OP?  I'm curious about this birth washer and would like to know more.

The washer that started it all...

I was incredibly lucky to have found a washer similar to, not the very same as, the automatic washer I have my earliest recollections of.  Here's the Canadian 1964 GE that surfaced outside of Québec City this summer!

The one I found is way fancier than the one I recall - I know it didn't have a speed selection or the fluorescent light above the controls - it may not have had a load size selector either, but I can't recall... 

Got the matched dryer with it, too - bonus!

@ everyone I am asking for the following part numbers… I can’t find them anywhere especially the console that I need… the model of my actual birth washer is LLR6144AQ0… if you guys find one of that exact model let me know ASAP… note it has to be that EXACT model…

Bradfordwhite, I too, grew up with a ‘62 Frigidaire Custom Deluxe washer and a mid ‘50s BOL Maytag dryer. I always hated the fact that they didn’t match!

My folks said that they went in with a couple of the neighbors to purchase the dryer and even though it was housed on my parent’s back porch, they all shared it. They ended up buying the dryer after my older brother was born in 1956. And this was in Eureka, CA where it’s always either raining or drizzly fog. Not the best climate for a clothes line!
