My current Daily Drivers.. Whirlpool Calypso and Maytag Neptune.

Today I finished working on my Maytag Neptune Dryer. I converted it to a MDG5500 from a MDG7500. Also my Whirlpool Calypso is Working again. If it wasn't for John then I would not have the calypso going again so Thank You John for helping me. Model Numbers. The Washer is GVW9959KQ2 and the Dryer is MDG5500AWW. Serial Numbers indicate Washer was made in October 2002 and the Dryer was made in September 2001. Both work very well. And John is my 2005 GE one of the cheaply made timers or is it the newer ones? My 2005 GE is a DBSR453GB2WW.

About the MDG7500

The CCU was bad. I ended up breaking it down for parts and scrapped it. I saved the Motor,Blower,Thermal fuse,both thermostats the sensor and lint filter. in my "I hate Scrappers" post I was talking about people who just junk the whole thing and not part it out. not us who are "Salvagers".
