I have a model 561 Food Crafter / mixer as well. When it was working, it was my quietest mixer especially at high speed. My GE model 25 comes in second place, but is quieter at low speed. It only runs right now at high speed so it needs attention, suspect a new resistor is needed or the governor has shorted out. Mine has the beater with a center posts that extend the full length of the beater. I think the last mixers had beaters with no center post, like GE made since before 1950. Was there a Food Crafter made having a beater ejector?
