My Fab, Ajax and Fresh Start Arrived..... Finally

After three months I got my cases of those detergents. The first thing I noticed was that the Fresh Start fragrance is now more like other detergents. Granted I had enough Fresh Start stockpiled from my last purchase so it has been about 3 years since I bought it. But I miss the old fragrance. Not terribly unpleasant though.

Other thing I noticed was that with each of those products, there was almost NO sudsing in the wash and the first rinse was absolutely clear. What a change from the Tide, Gain, etc..., where the first rinse water has the layer of whitish residue on top and there is still some residual white powdery residue in the wash basket at the end of the cycle.....

Now if I could only get those 1-18's delivered..........

Does the Ajax powder still have that wonderful scent?

I was able to score Ocean Breeze and Spring Magic Fab. The Ajax scent alas has changed, but it is perfectly acceptable. My disappointment was with the Fresh Start scent. But as I said, it isn't too objectionable and does leave only a slight scent behind.....

I also decided my local supermarket would have to try harder to order some of those powders. Since I have a prety good relationship with the grocery manager, he agreed to try and help out....We will see. I imagine we have only limited time to get the Colgate versions of these products before Phoenix brands gets their hands on them....

What Is In Fresh Start Anyway?

Have heard mixed reviews on cleaning ability,but those smallish jugs weigh quite allot whch usually means a laundry product loaded with sodium carbonate.
