Well kids, this is it... Today we are having our sale of all the stuff we are NOT shipping to the mainland. I hope to be selling our two computers, so I will not be "seeing" any of you until we arrive in the Twin Cities sometime next weekend. Monday, we are flying to Phoenix. We will be spending a few days shopping for warmer clothes (Face it... a rayon Aloha shirt isn't going to cut it in 22 below windchill!)and getting acclimated to mainland temperatures. On Friday we complete our journey and arrive at MSP in the afternoon.
To my email friends who wonder what happened to me- My email has not been "working right". Of course I should have called them right away, but other things were more important right now, so I just let it go. I WILL be in touch when we get back to MN. For now just know that I do love you and will be in touch soon.
Please keep us in your thought and prayers over the next few days. I am a bit worried about how Kittyboy will do on this trip, but then he got here, didn't he? I just worry about him as he is an old kitty-he has been with us for 15 years.
The thing I am really looking forward to is actually SEEING some of you folks in the flesh again. Gee, I hope there are a bunch of Wash-ins in the nearby area (Would it be rude to hint any louder?) and may host a get together myself once the dust settles.
Finally, if any of you Twin Cities members just HAPPEN to spot a good king-sized electric blanket at any of the sales this weekend, well just think of your friend whose blood is still quite thin.
My Love to all,
David
